Zoning & Conditions
Calistoga’s municipal code/zoning updates consolidate and preserve the City’s long-standing prohibition on renting homes/rooms in residential zoning districts for fewer than 30 days. 'Transient' is defined as occupancy of 30 consecutive calendar days or less. Exception: PD 2011-02 allows short-term rental of single-family homes only when rented through the hotel/resort operator, HOA, or an entity approved by the HOA.
