Zoning & Conditions
Short-term rentals (Tourist Homes) are limited to structures with no more than four rooms for transient guests. Operators must maintain an active Local Business Tax Receipt and a Tourist Home Certificate, and a 'responsible party' must be designated. Occupancy is intended to be temporary and the unit must not be the sole residence of the guest.
How to Obtain a Permit
1. Obtain a Local Business Tax Receipt (BTR) from the City. 2. Submit an application for a no-cost Tourist Home Certificate including the business name, owner/operator contact info, and a designated responsible party. 3. Submit a signed Tourist Home Affidavit and ensure both the BTR and Certificate are updated annually.
