Zoning & Conditions
Short-term vacation rentals (STVRs) are restricted by zoning districts; operations outside permitted zones require a Nonconforming Use Certificate (NUC). NUC owners must renew their certificates annually and comply with standards established in Planning Department Rule 23.
How to Obtain a Permit
1. Download and complete the STVR Registration Form and Statement of Compliance from the Planning Department website. 2. If operating outside permitted zoning, apply for a Nonconforming Use Certificate (NUC). 3. Submit the completed packet to the Planning Department and renew NUCs annually.
