Zoning & Conditions
Short-term rentals are restricted to 'Short-term vacation rentals' and 'Short-term homestays' as defined in the Land Development Code. Occupancy is limited to two persons per bedroom plus two additional occupants per finished story. A city-wide cap on the total number of registrations exists, and new permits are currently only issued via a waiting list.
How to Obtain a Permit
1. Submit a Long-Term/Short-Term Rental Application to the City. 2. If the registration cap is reached, submit a Waiting List Request Form. 3. Once a spot is available, the property must be inspected and certified by the Fire Department before advertising or renting.
