In the Village, rentals under two weeks are prohibited, and a maximum of two short-term rentals are allowed per calendar year. Occupancy is generally limited to four unrelated persons.
How to Obtain a Permit
1) Submit a notarized Rental Property Registration Form and a notarized Self-Inspection Checklist along with a copy of the property's Certificate of Occupancy. 2) Pay the registration fee (typically $100 for a two-year term). 3) Upon approval, the Building Department issues a unique rental registration number which must be renewed every two years.
