Zoning & Conditions

Vacation/short-term rentals are treated as residential uses but are limited by the Town’s zoning and size/occupancy rules: single-family dwellings used for vacation rentals are subject to a maximum of seven bedrooms (or septic capacity for no more than 14 people), a 6,000 sq. ft. maximum enclosed living area cap for single-family dwellings, and off-street parking ratios tied to bedroom/septic capacity; shared space-occupancy dwellings (SSOs) may accommodate up to 20 occupants but have specific bathroom, parking, and health-permit requirements.
