How to Obtain a Permit
1) Submit the City’s short-term rental owner permit application to the Department of Land Use and Planning including owner/operator contact info, municipal address, floor plan, evacuation plan, site/parking plan, noise abatement and sanitation plans, attestation and proof of completion of the short-term rental course; 2) Pay the annual permit fee ($75) and provide required proof documents including insurance and tax/finance information at renewal; 3) Permit is reviewed/issued by the Department of Land Use and Planning and you must allow inspections on request (routine inspections within 21 days of request; emergency inspections may be immediate).
