Zoning & Conditions
Transient lodging (rentals of 30 days or less) is only permitted within the Transient Lodging Overlay Zone (TLO). To be eligible for the TLO, a property must already be zoned Central Commercial (CC) or Village Commercial (VC). Applications for the TLO designation are only accepted between March 1 and March 31 of even-numbered calendar years.
How to Obtain a Permit
1) Verify the property is currently zoned Central Commercial (CC) or Village Commercial (VC). 2) Submit a Zone Map Amendment (TLO) application via the CivicReview portal during the open window (March 1–31 of even-numbered years). 3) Complete the Town review process and meet with Community Development staff as required.
