Zoning & Conditions
Vacation rentals are allowed outright in OT, OTW, RC, and S3 zones, but require a 200-foot buffer and a Conditional Use Permit in R2R and S2 zones. Occupancy is limited to 2 persons per bedroom plus 2 (max 10 total), and one off-street parking space is required per bedroom (minimum 2).
How to Obtain a Permit
Submit a Vacation Rental Application Packet to City Hall including a State Business License (UBI), liability insurance, and a property management plan. Schedule and pass both an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) inspection and a Fire & Life Safety inspection. Obtain and annually renew the revocable vacation rental license.
