Zoning & Conditions
The City of Pasco prohibits short-term rentals of less than 30 days. For rentals of 30 days or more, owners must obtain a rental license, pass habitability inspections every two years, and comply with zoning requirements for Single Room Occupancy (SRO) where applicable.
How to Obtain a Permit
1) Submit a completed City rental license application via the Business Licensing portal or PDF form. 2) Pay the required fees ($50 for the first unit plus $10 per additional unit). 3) Schedule and pass a habitability inspection to receive a certificate, which must be renewed every two years.
