Occupancy is determined by the Building Inspector based on the International Residential Code. Operators must maintain an approved Property Management Plan and provide it to all neighbors within 300 feet. Minimum off-street parking is 2 stalls, plus 1 additional stall for every 4 authorized occupants. Signage is limited to one sign no larger than 16" x 32".
How to Obtain a Permit
1. Schedule a pre-application life and safety inspection with the Building Inspector to set maximum occupancy. 2. Submit the Vacation Rental Permit Application with a site plan, property title report, and fees. 3. Complete the public notice process, including mailing notices to neighbors within 300 feet and attending a hearing before the Hearing Examiner. Permits must be renewed annually.
