Owners must notify the Summers County Assessor’s Office for Class IV classification and maintain required on-site parking info as part of the application.
How to Obtain a Permit
1) Submit a written application on forms provided to the City’s Code Enforcement Officer with required items (address, tax parcel, owner/contact info, parking, initial vs renewal) and pay the fee per the City’s fee schedule; 2) Schedule and pass inspection by certified inspectors (10 days’ notice provided) conducted under Building/Fire Code; 3) Upon compliance the Code Enforcement Officer issues a letter of compliance valid three years. Complete applications must be filed at least 60 days before occupancy is needed.
